What are the MIBA’s focus areas?
The Michigan Israel Business Accelerator (MIBA) has developed partnerships within five industry sectors that align with the shared strengths of the Michigan and Israeli ecosystems: Mobility; Defense; Cybersecurity & Artificial Intelligence; Food & Agricultural Technology, and; Health & Life Sciences. Throughout 2021, the market pulled the MIBA into additional industry sectors that developed into strategic collaborative opportunities between Michigan and Israel. As a result, the MIBA added two additional focus areas: Advanced Manufacturing/I 4.0 and Sustainability Technology. Although the MIBA generally focuses on these seven areas, they are open to opportunities that fall outside of these domains.
