The MIBA partnered with Global Ties Detroit as they welcomed a delegation of Israeli business leaders through the International Visitor Leadership Program. The group, visiting Detroit as part of a broader U.S. tour, engaged in discussions aimed at fostering cross-border partnerships and exploring opportunities in innovation.
MIBA Hosts Defense Delegation to Michigan

The MIBA hosted a defense delegation from Israel in partnership with the Israel Ministry of Defense’s Directorate for International Cooperation (SIBAT). A diverse set of six companies accompanied three senior leaders from the SIBAT for four days of meetings, events, and activities that connected them with potential customers, partners, and resources in Michigan that can help them “Make it in Michigan”.

Tel Aviv has climbed to fourth place in Startup Genome’s annual ranking of the world’s most attractive ecosystems for startups and innovation. Silicon Valley remains in the top spot, with New York and London tied for second.
MIBA Promotes Michigan at SelectUSA Summit, Connects with Israeli Companies

The MIBA capped off a busy month by attending the SelectUSA Investment Summit in Washington DC. Hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Investment Summit is a one-stop shop for companies considering expanding to the United States. More than 40 Israeli companies attended this year’s conference across a variety of industries. Bernard was able to connect with many of these companies and talk about the benefits of selecting Michigan and how the MIBA can support their efforts.
