Spotlight on Innovation / December Focus: HealthTech

Every month we share just a couple of the many unique and exciting Israeli innovations we’ve seen. This month, we are highlighting Israeli technology in the Health Tech space – specifically, companies who are using autonomous robotics both in the field and in the greenhouse. If you’re interested in connecting with these companies, please reach out to bernard@michiganisrael.com.

Selfit Medical
Digital Therapy for Seniors

Selfit Medical has developed a digital therapy platform for the aging population.  Their devices can be used by individuals in their own home or in physical therapy clinics as a way to extend care.  Selfit can project images on the floor or wall and through simple commands, guide the patients through the exercises, all while monitoring progress and adapting to the patient’s needs.

Cardiokol
Monitoring for Heart Rhythm Disorders

Cardiokol is a digital telehealth company that develops voice-based markers and methods for monitoring and screening heart rhythm disorders.  Their proprietary technology is implemented in everyday speech platforms such as landlines, smart phones and speakers, and voice assistants and can identify arrhythmias and send alerts when issues are detected.

Through timely and economical detection and management, Cardiokol can prevent over 70% of A-Fib related strokes and other chronic, high-cost complications.
