The cohort’s focus—spanning distributed energy, next-generation mobility systems, and industrial AI—directly addresses the most pressing needs of Michigan’s industrial and automotive base as we transition to an electrified, connected future. Below is an overview of the innovative companies we were proud to host and introduce to our partners.

In February, we profiled SilverStream Medical’s breakthrough wound-healing technology—an FDA-cleared solution already used in 25+ countries and nearly 500,000 patient treatments for diabetic foot ulcers, burns, and pressure sores. The promise remains the same: faster healing, fewer infections, and a path away from chronic pain and amputations.

Michigan Israel Business Accelerator (MIBA) is excited to highlight Plantelligence, a new wellness and consumer-tech company with strong ties to both Michigan and Israel. One co-founder is based here in Michigan, while the other resides in Israel, reflecting the very cross-border innovation MIBA exists to foster.

This September, MIBA will again welcome Contguard to Michigan as they move closer to finalizing the location of their U.S. headquarters. Contguard, a leader in supply chain visibility and security solutions, previously visited in July, when MIBA partnered with the City of Southfield, Oakland County, and DRP to highlight the strengths of Southeast Michigan as a landing spot for their operations.
