Contguard Eyes Michigan for U.S. Headquarters

Written by Casey Iaccino, MIBA Director of Innovation and Economic Expansion

This September, MIBA will again welcome Contguard to Michigan as they move closer to finalizing the location of their U.S. headquarters. Contguard, a leader in supply chain visibility and security solutions, previously visited in July, when MIBA partnered with the City of Southfield, Oakland County, and DRP to highlight the strengths of Southeast Michigan as a landing spot for their operations.

Securing Supply Chains with Innovation

Contguard delivers end-to-end solutions for monitoring and managing goods in transit, giving companies real-time line of sight into their shipments. By doing so, Contguard helps reduce theft, safeguard high-value products, and ensure shipping integrity across global markets. Their technology is already trusted by industry giants including Amazon and Walmart, underscoring the impact and scalability of their platform.

Why Michigan?

As Contguard evaluates where to anchor its U.S. presence, Michigan is a natural fit. With its robust manufacturing sector, concentration of logistics expertise, and critical cross-border trade routes with Canada, Southeast Michigan offers a unique ecosystem for supply chain innovation. The state’s legacy in moving goods efficiently across industries makes it an attractive location for companies like Contguard that are shaping the future of global commerce.

Opportunity for Engagement

Contguard’s decision represents more than just a headquarters—it’s an opportunity for Michigan companies to partner with a global leader in supply chain security. Their platform can deliver value across industries, from automotive and advanced manufacturing to food and pharmaceuticals.

If your organization is interested in learning more about Contguard’s technology and exploring potential synergies, please contact MIBA. We would be delighted to connect you and help showcase how innovation in supply chain security can drive growth, resilience, and competitive advantage here in Michigan.
